FET microphone inspired by the much sought-after U47 mic, using British Oxford transformers, Class-A FET circuit design, Phillips Norelco Uber-FET,

The ADK Berlin-47 T is a FET large diaphragm condenser microphone inspired by the revered U47 and delivering a warm, smooth and classic sound of the 50's

The ADK Berlin-47 T uses an all-new Class-A F.E.T which is designed for soft-saturation rather than the usual hard clipping at extremely high SPL. It ensures the microphone remains as musical as possible even when close-miked.

To achieve this, ADK has had to employ the best components possible starting with the ADK Low-Noise 3 Zigma capsule with Vintage Voicing curves which is the result of extensive research and collaboration between experts in three different continents. Furthermore, the Berlin-47 T employs British Oxford transformers and high-end Phillips Norelco Uber-FET.

Further appointments include a three-way polar pattern switch providing a choice between Omni, cardioid and bi-directional modes and a dual attenuation pad and filter to modify the dynamic response of the microphone.

The Berlin-47 T offers rich bottom end with a hint of sparkle in the high frequency.
