The Antelope Audio Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core is a state-of-the-art Thunderbolt and USB audio interface with four console-grade mic preamps, class-leading digital audio converters and the latest DSP processing.

The Antelope Audio Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core comes with dual FGPA processing combined with two DSP chips to free up processing power from the computer and process audio with world-class FX and extremely low latency. It comes with 36 real-time effects. With its number of inputs and outputs, the Discrete 4 provides a convenient way to record and monitor several players without using the input monitoring section of Pro tools or any recording software.

Ultra-Accurate conversion and 64-bit AFC Clocking

The Antelope Discrete 4 Pro professional audio interface boasts the latest AD/DA designs providing crystal clear audio at sample rates up to 192kHz and up to 121dB of dynamic range. The class-leading digital audio converters ensure unparalleled sound quality at the recording and monitoring stage. 

In addition, Antelope's renowned AFC clocking technology delivers the same jitter rejection in your home studio as those used in the most prestigious studios and mastering suites worldwide. Using 4th-generation 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking and jitter management delivers artefact-free digital audio resulting in increased stereo width, separation and detail.

Discrete Mic Preamps

The Antelope Discrete 4 comes with four console-grade Discrete mic preamps designed to bring your tracks to life. Using a unique 6-transistor discrete preamp design, it delivers clean audio even at high-gain settings. The microphone inputs provide up to 65dB of gain and can power virtually any microphone. Combined with the Verge and Edge modelling condenser microphones, the Discrete preamps open brand new possibilities, complementing perfectly the tones offered by the Synergy Core mic preamp emulations. 

Improved DSP Processing

The Synergy Core uses Antelope's next-generation signal processing technology, which combines the ability of FGPA chips and industry-standard DSP to create a powerful system to process FX while freeing up CPU.

This combination results in maximum processing of 32FX instances at any sample rate, all at ultra-low latency.

Mic Modelling Ready

The Discrete 4 Pro Synergy Core includes an Accusonic 3D modelling engine which transforms the Antelope Edge modelling microphones into replicas of some of the most revered vintage microphones. 

This powerful modelling solution not only lets you choose what type of microphones but also the polar patterns. What's more, it is possible to change all the settings after ensuring the perfect sound. 

Production Powerhouse

In addition to the mic modelling software, the Discrete 4 comes with 36 Synergy Core FX covering emulations of some of the most coveted vintage hardware units and rare and never before emulated pieces of iconic hardware. 

With a collection of guitar amps and cabinets, it is possible to record an electric guitar while the low latency ensures the perfect feel.
