The Antelope Audio Discrete 8 Synergy Core is an advanced Thunderbolt and USB audio interface with 8-in and 10-out including 8 console-grade mic preamps, world-class digital audio converters and next-gen onboard processing.
The Antelope Audio Discrete 8 Synergy Core comes equipped with an extensive number of inputs and outputs including eight analogue XLR/Jack Combo Mic preamps eight analogue outputs, a stereo monitor output and two headphone outputs. Two Reamp outputs are also provided to connect guitar pedals or amps if required. It also includes 8-channels of ADAT, S/PDIF connections as well as three Word Clock outputs.
This professional audio interface also uses a new dual FGPA processing combined with two DSP chips. This powerful combination frees up the computer’s CPU while processing audio with superior FX and extremely low latency. It comes with 36 real-time effects.
The Antelope Discrete 8 features the latest innovations in AD/DA technology to ensure pristine audio performance at sample rates up to 192kHz. It provides an impressive 130dB of dynamic range at the monitoring stage. These world-class digital audio converters deliver state-of-the-art sound quality making your vocals and instruments sound lush, bold and expansive.

The Antelope Discrete 8 comes with eight console-grade Discrete mic preamps with phantom power, based on extensive research of legendary mic preamps. Its unique 6-transistor discrete preamp design ensures clean recordings even at high gain settings. This modern classic mic pre delivers up to 65dB of gain and can power virtually any microphones.
These preamps have been specifically designed with the Edge and Verge modelling condenser microphones in mind, complementing their characteristics to create the ultimate recordings when partnered with Antelope's Synergy Core technology.
The Discrete 8 Synergy Core comes with the Accusonic 3D modelling engine which changes the Antelope Edge and Verge modelling mics into some of the most revered and expensive vintage microphones.
In addition to the tone modelling characteristics The Accusonic 3D modelling lest you change polar patterns during or after recordings giving you the opportunity to capture the finest performance.

Antelope's next-generation Synergy Core signal processing technology combines an FGPA chip with two industry-standard DSP chips to create a powerful system to process FX while minimising stress on the computer’s CPU.
This combination results in maximum processing of 64FX instances at any sample rate, all at ultra-low latency.
In addition to the mic modelling software, the Discrete 8 comes with 36 Synergy Core FX included. These emulations include some of the most coveted vintage hardware units as well as rare and never before emulated pieces of iconic hardware.
It comes with a careful selection of sought-after preamps, EQ and compressors to get started tracking through the sound of revered outboard.
