Avid HD I/O 8x8x8

The Avid HD I/O 8x8x8 is a 2U rack-mounted expandable AD/DA converter with extremely low latency. With an Avid HD I/O 8x8x8 you have excellent flexibility and conversion as well as clean, transparent sound through the top quality AD/DA converters - as quiet and reliable as you would expect from Avid.

The flexibility comes from 8 separate analogue Ins and Outs, as well as the 8 AES/EBU digital outs and the 8 TDIF and 8 ADAT channels. When you are running Pro Tools HDX or Pro Tools HD|Native on your DAW, you route through your Pro Tools PCIe card into the dedicated plugs on the back of the Avid 8x8x8 and you can then pick and choose what you send to where - inputs through the analogue ins, more digital inputs through the AES/EBU D-Subs, plus you have the S/PDIF and Optical I/Os as well. 

Keeping the HD I/O 8x8x8 versatile means that Avid has left a blank card bay on the back, so as your future needs change so your Avid HD I/O 8x8x8 can change with you.
