Bastl Instruments Kastle

The Bastl Instruments Kastle is a pocket sized micro modular synthesizer that's designed to work with and enhance external gear.

Built around two Attiny 85 Arduino programmable chips, Kastle provides a unique lo-fo gritty sound and powerful modulation in a tiny package. One chip inside Kastle is dedicated to sound generation, one is dedicated to modulation.

Speaking of modulation, there's 40 patch points on this tiny little synth which are connected using simple breadboard cables.

There's three possible synthesis modes; phase distortion, phase modulation and track & hold modulation and a wide array of tonal controls for the VCO for changing pitch, timbre and waveshape.

For extra versatility there's 3.5mm jacks for syncing to external equipment.

A perfect pocket sized modular that's great for beginners of equally as good for adding functionality to a bigger modular system. Kastle brings modular synthesis to the masses.
