Based in Wisconsin, Dave started his career designing many of the classic Summit Audio products before setting up Crane Song and running his own studio, which is where many of his designs and experiments first find life.

Having created products originally for his own needs, and consequently his knowledge of digital coding, this has now allowed him to develop equipment with true analog sonics. These designs are all unique, and his digital elements are 'tweakable' in realtime - like traditional analog equipment, providing familiar hands-on control but with the modern specifications only digital can provide.
