Having previously worked at Lansdowne Studios, where he modified their EMI ‘REDD’ valve desk, he then ran his own successful London studios such as Maximum Sound, Chalk Farm and later Chiswick Reach, which were all designed around his own unique valve consoles and outboard before setting up Thermionic Culture in 1998. The design ethos behind any Thermionic product is to use high quality valve design to provide harmonic, musical saturation.

All Thermionic Culture equipment is Hand Made in the UK, and due to the success of models such as The Pheonix compressor, Culture Vulture, Fat Bustard Summing Mixer and Earlybird, they have gained many appreciative users worldwide from Studios to Mastering Suites, and numerous Industry Awards.

At KMR all Thermionic Culture products are available for demo - as we know Vic is on a mission to promote the use of valve sonics in equipment where possible - and by creating these designs he has provided tools for artists, engineers and producers to experience what he did, having been brought up on recordings through valve equipment and to tape, in your own environment.
