Doepfer A-137-2 Wave Multiplier

The Doepfer A-137-2 is a four stage wave multiplier module that's designed to enhance waveforms and add extra power to more standard audio sources.


A-137-2 takes an audio source or waveform, phase shifts and copies the signal four times and outputs the resulting waveform at its output. The effect this module produces is akin to a multi oscillator voice, where the original voice and its four copies are output simultaneously.


Manual control and CV control over the four stages is provided for the utmost flexibility and modulation versatility. Each phased stage can be modulated independently at different rates to create unusual waveforms and timbres.


Wave multipliers are a handy tool for enhancing more simpler waveforms, they pair especially well with harmonically rich waveforms such as triangles, squares or sawtooth waves.
