The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 is a super-cardioid microphone designed for double bass with adjustable gooseneck and DPA’s new CORE amplifier technology.


The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 Bass Microphone delivers outstanding performance live or in the studio. It is the culmination of years of research into Bass microphones and delivers a truly natural sound, capturing all the details and dynamics of this instrument. Using a super-cardioid polar pattern allows for maximum isolation, low self-noise and high-gain before feedback. it works wonders in ensembles on stage or in an orchestra.


Following in the footsteps of the original d:vote series the d:vote CORE 4099 Bass Microphone captures a truly natural sound both on and off axis with no harsh frequencies. The microphone easily and securely attaches to the double bass via a rubber coated mounting system that is placed under the bridge.


The d:vote CORE 4099 Bass Microphone kit comes with the Loud SPL variation offering an impressive dynamic range of 108dB and can support up to 142dB before clipping. It also includes the DPA’s DAD6001-BC XLR adapter that has a built-in high-pass filter and requires 48V phantom power.
