The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 Universal Mic Kit is a supercardioid microphones with clip on specifically used for use on woodwind instruments.
The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 Universal Mic kit uses a highly directional capsule which helps avoid unwanted spill from other instruments even on small stages. Furthermore, it achieves a very natural sound both on- and off-axis, avoiding unnatural harsh frequencies.
Using DPA’s latest CORE amplifying technology, the d:vote 4099 uses the Loud SPL variation which offers a dynamic range of 108dB and can withstand up to 142dB before clipping. It also helps in achieving a very transparent sound.
The universal mounting system uses a velcro strap with rubber mount to securely attach the microphone on all types of woodwind instruments. This system makes it easy to fit and reattach the microphone when required without leaving any marks or damage to the instrument.
The kit includes the DPA DAD6001-BC XLR which requires 48V phantom power and includes a built-in high-pass filter to remove any unwanted rubble. Wireless microphone systems can also be used with the correct DPA adapter.
