The DPA d:vote CORE 4099C is a super-cardioid microphone designed for the cello with adjustable gooseneck and DPA’s new CORE amplifier technology.
The DPA d:vote CORE 4099 Cello Microphone is the result of extensive research in capturing the sound of a cello in all its glory live or in the studio. It uses a super-cardioid polar pattern ensuring maximum isolation as well as low self-noise and high-gain before feedback. As a result it can easily be used in ensembles on stage or in an orchestra.
Like the original d:vote series the d:vote CORE 4099 Cello Microphone captures a truly natural sound both on and off axis with no harsh frequencies. The microphone easily and securely attaches to the cello via a rubber coated mounting system that is placed below the bridge.
The d:vote CORE 4099 Cello Microphone kit comes with the Loud SPL variation offering an impressive dynamic range of 108dB and can support up to 142dB before clipping. It also comes with DPA’s DAD6001-BC XLR adapter with built-in high-pass filter and 48V requires phantom power.
