The DPA d:vote CORE 4099S is a super-cardioid clip-on microphone for saxophone with adjustable gooseneck and DPA’s new CORE amplifier technology.
The DPA d:vote CORE 4099S is the result of extensive research in capturing the ultimate saxophone sound live or in the studio. It uses a super-cardioid polar pattern ensuring maximum isolation as well as low self-noise and high-gain before feedback. As a result it can easily be used in ensembles on stage or in an orchestra.
Like the original d:vote series the d:vote CORE 4099S captures a truly natural sound both on and off axis with no harsh frequencies. It uses an improved mounting system designed to easily and securely attach to the rim of the saxophone via a rubber coated clamp.
The d:vote CORE 4099S Sax Microphone kit includes a Loud SPL variation which offers a dynamic range of 108dB and can support and impressive 142dB before clipping. It also comes with DPA’s DAD6001-BC XLR adapter with built-in high-pass filter and 48V requires phantom power.
