The Dreadbox Hades is a semi-modular analogue bass synthesizer with a eurorack compatible patching matrix. Hades architecture is completely analogue and is built using only through hole components.
Hades features a single VCO and two sub octave voice structure, coupled with a 3-pole 18dB filter makes for some earth shaking tones. The waveforms available include saw and square wave with variable pulse width for added versatility.
The onboard variable OTA distortion circuit adds fat saturated harmonic overtones, providing extra tonal variety and diversity to your bass sound.
The onboard filter is a 3-pole 18dB low pass filter, able to self resonate it screams when pushed to its upper limits, adding yet further character and intensity to the sound.
Just like the EREBUS, Hades features a Eurorack compatible 8-point patching matrix perfect for bringing in external modulation sources to control any of the four input sections of the synths voice.
Patching I/O includes ENV out, OSC out, LFO out, 1V/o out VCF input, CV input, VCA input and Gate input, all of which are on 3.5mm jacks and are completely eurorack compatible.
