The Dutch & Dutch 8c Studio is a studio version of the highly accurate 8c speaker, merging revolutionary design with powerful DSP to offer perfect integration in any room with wide sweet spot and natural and detailed sound.
The Dutch & Dutch 8C Studio boasts the same design as the flagship 8C in a black MDF enclosure including its proprietary waveguide tweeter, acoustic cardioid midrange, boundary-coupled bass drivers and active room matching. As a result, it delivers the same astounding acoustical reproduction even when placed closer to room boundaries.
Using the same no-compromise approach, the 8C Studio provides incredible detail and clarity with constant directivity from 100Hz upwards It also has a linear frequency response between 35Hz and 20kHz (+/- 0.5dB) and extends up to 25kHz (+/-1dB) to ensure unrivalled neutrality, precision and in-room tonal balance.
The subwoofer, located at the back, is powered by a 500Watts amplifier serving two high-excursion 8" drivers with boundary loading designed to deliver ultimate precision and impact.
In addition, the 8c Studio includes high-quality DACs and DSP with room-matching and streaming capabilities. the included DSP includes allows you to fine-tune your system or emulate another loudspeaker. It can be controlled via a web-based application or a native App on your phone or tablet. Automatic updates are also available with new firmware provided to keep your speaker up-to-date with the latest standards and features.
With the latest firmware update, the Dutch & Dutch 8c includes the Room EQ Wizard into the built-in filters allowing you to measure the acoustic of your room using REW and export the measurements directly into your speakers. The DSP inside the speakers will then apply the corrective parametric filters, self-calibrating to your room with minimal effort.
