- A no-brainer at this price... Review by Scott Maple (Posted on 02/09/2015)
It's well constructed, doesn't feel cheap in any way and (so far) works as it should.
The link option* allows you to daisy chain modules without having to use patch cables, it has a ground lift, you can stereo-link two modules in any adjoining slots (if they have been designed with the option as per vpr standard), and if you have compatible Fredenstein 500 series modules (I don't) you can patch inserts via xlr send/return.
Far more than you can reasonably expect at this price point.
*My only complaint is minor. They choose to name the 'feed' function 'link', and what I would call the link option 'bus'. It's certainly not a deal breaker, but I did need to refer to the manual on that one.
