The Heritage Audio MCM-8 is a 8-slot 500-series chassis and 10-channel summing mixer with pan and fader controls.
The Heritage Audio MCM-8 uses its own latest On Slot Technology which handles power for each slot separately offering optimum performance and isolation from other modules. Each slot includes next to it test LEDs to check for correct operation. Each slot can receive up to 400mA per rail and the total amount per rail is 1.4A.
In addition, MCM-8 also features a mixbuss using a passive voltage summing topology inspired by the summing found in legendary Neve consoles in the 70’s with gain loss compensated for by the same Class A transformer based output stage found on the 1073. An additional stereo input is also included for daisy-chaining several units together or simply routing an additional two channels without using 500-series processing. A VU meter is provided as well as a stereo master fader. Connections include XLR and DB25 on the inputs and outputs.
