Josephson Jecklin Disk stereo microphone baffle design, used with omnidirectional stereo pair microphones.
The Josephson Jecklin disk is a stereo microphone baffle design, used with omnidirectional stereo pair microphones. With the microphones positioned 165mm away from each other it creates a correct delay time difference between the two channels. Both microphones are separated from each other via an acoustically muffled disk of 300mm diameter. The disk works in a way that when the frequency increases, the two microphones are more separated.
