Mobile I/O is a portable, high quality, modular FireWire based multi-format audio I/O for professional and multimedia applications. The 2882 ships with eight balanced analogue inputs (XLR and TRS), digital I/O's (AES/EBU and S/PDIF), ADAT optical support and eight balanced analog outputs (1/4" TRS), along with wordclock and IEEE 1394 connections. All capable of 24 bit 96kHz operation.

All Mobile I/Os have a SHARC DSP chip onboard that powers the versatile MIOConsole 80bit WIDE mixer, router, and control application. Use MIOConsole to route any input to any output, giving you more powerful mixing possibilities than any unit on the market. All channels have 24 bit, 96kHz converters, making this the perfect tool for digital recording.

With 8 channels of mic/line/instrument analogue inputs (all with individually selectable mic preamps and discrete phantom power), 8 channels of ADAT I/O, and stereo AES/EBU and S/PDIF I/O, the Mobile I/O 2882 is truly the strongest interface in a market cluttered with imitators.
