Moog MiniFooger MF Ring

The Moog MiniFooger MF Ring is a ring modulation pedal based on the extremely popular Moogerfooger MF-102.

The Moog MiniFooger MF Ring uses the same components as its bigger sibling delivering the same great tone that has made ring modulation as successful amongst synthesists and guitarists. However a new Tone control lets you change the colour of your voicing giving you even more possibilities.

From octaves and choral dissonance to harmonic undertones, the MF Ring can easily provide the unique sound of ring modulation. Addition effects can also be obtained by using an expression pedal such as sound sweeps pitch shifting effects and more.

Controls include FREQ which allows you to tune the frequency of the carrier while the TONE control adds a filter circuit to the effected signal ensuring a more musical character and controlled texture. Finally a MIX knob lets you blend the amount of effect desired from subtle harmonic enhancement to extreme synthesized sounds.

The MF Ring also features a true bypass switch ensuring that you don’t lose sound quality, and an Expression Pedal input which is assigned to FREQ control and lets create unusual effects such as classic Sci-Fi swells, bit reduction effects, and whammy dives. Using the Expression pedal will also push the effects further than what’s possible on the pedal itself
