TSL-4V is dead long live TSL-4
Although the TSL-4 is not a new product by any means, Inward Connections felt that it needed a little updating and has replaced its input stage 6072 valve by NOS 6072 tubes which they claim outperforms even the TSL-4V which incidentally is being discontinued. Inward Connections has spent a lot of time testing and listening to feedback from TSL-4 VAC RAC users and the combination of old NOS input tubes combined with modern 12BH7A valves on the output stage provided the best sound in terms of colour and performance.
While the TSL-4V was a little more expensive because of the NOS valves, the TSL-4 remains exactly at the same price even with the addition of a new NOS 6072 valve on the input stage giving even more bang for your buck.
Releasing The Brat
Inward Connections announced The Brat at NAMM and have just starting shipping.  The 500-series parametric EQ adds warmth and definition to the sound with a high degree of precision. Using VF600 amp blocks as well as differential balanced input and output transformers, The Brat has a really distinctive character that engineers are going to love.
It features 4 generously overlapping bands with Low Frequency and High Frequency bands operating at either shelf or bell curves and +/- 12dB of gain on all four bands.  Each band uses a 41 stepped detente knob for frequency and 31-position control for bandwidth making it easy to recall settings.
The very first units of The Brat will retail at £780 inc VAT (£650 ex VAT) and are scheduled to arrive with us by the end of the month so if you are looking to add a unique tone to your 500-series make sure you check this incredible unit.
