Softube Now Shipping Console 1

Softube has finally released its much talked-about Console 1, console emulation software with a dedicated hardware controller.

Announced almost a year ago at MusikMesse 2013 Softube have spent some time refining the product and more importantly partnered with SSL to have their emulation of the legendary SSL 4000 E console certified. This means that when you buy the Console 1 you’ll have a great emulation of one of the most revered mixing consoles ever produced!

The Console 1 bridges the gap between hardware and software by giving you the immediacy of hardware controls with the improved workflow of software plug-ins. Indeed with the Console 1 you don’t even need to look at your screen while you can do much more than you would be able to on traditional hardware. For example you can group channels so any changes on the Console 1 affects all the channels on that group. What’s more the quality of Softube’s emulations are some of the best available, so you are also getting a great sounding plug-in to use in your projects.

Softube has gone even further by letting you mix and match any Softube plug-ins to replace the SSL 400 E. For example you can decide that you prefer the Tube-Tech Classic Channel and the Summit Audio Grand Channel or even that you’d rather use the Softube FET compressor or Trident A Series EQ. All you need to do is switch the Softube plug-in of your choice.

The Softube Console 1 works with all native VST, AudioUnits and AAX compatible DAWs but is at the moment only mac compatible. Windows compatibility should arrive later.

The first shipment is expected to arrive very soon so for more info on the Console 1 or any Softube product, contact us on 020 8445 2446, e-mail us at sales@kmraudio.com or come to our North London showroom or Richmond sales office for a chat and a cup of coffee.
