Taking the concept of their highly effective Transmod plug-in and pushing it to new heights, the Envolution adds frequency-dependent behaviour, parallel processing and a vast range of envelope controls.
In addition to the familiar Transient and Sustain controls, Envolution includes two Profile sections which include Attack, Hold and release controls. If that wasn’t enough, it also boasts a parametric style focus mode, which lets you centre the effect on a particular frequency band. Additional processing include a DIFF button which solos the effect for really extreme settings, a Phase correlated Wet/Dry Mix knob and a Warmth control which adds colour as well as preventing excessive output levels.
The Sonnox Oxford Envolution is available as AU/VST/AAX Native formats as well as AAX DSP for Pro Tools HD and HDX users with the native plug-in retailing at £170 ex VAT and the AAX DSP plug-in costing £275 (ex-VAT again).
