The Nord Electro 6D 61 is a versatile stage keyboard boasting top-tier emulations of electro-mechanical instruments like electric pianos, tonewheel organs, and world-class acoustic instruments. This instrument offers three entirely independent sound sections that can be expertly layered. The seamless transition feature ensures a smooth, uninterrupted shift between your stored patches, eliminating unwanted voice cutoffs during transitions. The Electro 6 takes the award-winning Electro series to an entirely new pinnacle.

One standout feature of the Nord Electro 6 is its seamless transitions when changing sounds or programs while playing, making it perfect for dynamic performances. Its panel incorporates three autonomous sound sections: Organ, Piano, and Sample Synth, which can be simultaneously layered or split. It introduces six Split Points and the innovative Split Point Crossfade functionality initially introduced in the Stage 3, enabling seamless transitions between the two split zones. Users can choose from three crossfade widths (Small, Large, or Off), each indicated by LED colours.

The program section of the Nord Electro 6 has been refined to provide a streamlined user experience. It now includes an Organize mode with Copy/Paste and Move functionality, allowing you to arrange your Programs to your desired order quickly. A newly introduced Page View simplifies sorting and organizing pages as a song list.

In the Organ Section, the Nord Electro 6 features award-winning Nord C2D Organ simulations, including B3 Tonewheel, Vintage Transistor Organs, and two Pipe Organ models. It also includes the latest vintage 122 Rotary Speaker simulation. Furthermore, it now boasts two distinct Pipe Organ models: Pipe 1 and Pipe 2; the latter was introduced with the Electro 5, which recreates the metal pipes found in pipe or church organs and includes a special new detune mode when enabling Vibrato/Chorus.

The new Dual Organ mode offers quick access to dual manual setups and provides comprehensive control over drawbar settings for the Lower and Upper manuals. Physical Drawbars are included for the Electro 6D 61 and 73 models, offering a tactile and immersive experience for dedicated organ players.
