AJH Synth Sonic XV Eurorack Diode Ladder Wave Filter

The AJH Synth Sonic XV Diode Filter brings the tonal characteristics of the Musonics Sonic V filter to the modular world.

Designed around a transistor core, the Musonics Sonic V Filter was originally conceived as a work around replacement to the traditional Moog Ladder Filter. Since it's architecture was so radically different, the resulting sound was vastly different to it's transistor counterpart.

AJH have gone beyond simply recreating the Sonic V filter, with this modular incarnation they have added a 6dB low pass output, bandpass output and perhaps most importantly resonant waveshaping on both the input and the resonance stages.

So, instead of your more subtractive means of filtering, the Sonic XV adds harmonic content and enhances the timbre of the audio it processes, going into the polivoks domain and even further.

Full CV control over all the key parameters are included; Frequency, Resonance, Resonance wave and there's even a 1 volt per octave input for key tracking purposes.

Each of the aforementioned filter stages have their own dedicated output allowing for all three filter voices to be used simultaneously.

Tonally more akin to the likes of the TB-303 or the EMS Synthi-A, fans of the diode sound will love the Sonic XV.
