The Audeze LCD-24 is a limited edition planar magnetic headphones offering the advanced technology of the LCD-4 with a voicing reminiscent of the LCD-2 headphones.
The LCD-24 are an ideal pair of headphones for mixing and mastering engineers, offering impressive linear response across its 5Hz to 50kHz frequency range and superior transient response and stereo image.
With requirements of a mere 15Ohms to operate these headphones can be driven from any device including smartphones tablets.
The Audeze LCD-24 boasts 0.5-micron nano-grade Uniforce diaphragms sandwiched between a redesigned Double Fluxor magnet arrays to create a powerful flux density. This combination offers an extraordinary level of resolution and transparency which translate in increased detail and nuance.
The diaphragms also feature Audeze’s Fazor technology which acts as waveguides to ensure greater clarity, phase coherence, 3D imaging and a frequency response ranging between 5Hz to 50kHz.
Unlike traditional Planar-style headphones, the LCD-24 creates a uniform magnetic field without the need for additional ferromagnetic material, reducing greatly magnetic interference and harmonic distortion. It also reduces the overall weight.
A large suspension style carbon fibre and leather headband, combined with the overall reduced weight also ensure maximum comfort for long mixing and mastering sessions.
The LCD-24 ships with a robust travel case and ¼” to dual 4-pin Mini XLR cable.
