The Haken Audio ContinuuMini is a portable version of the Haken Continuum Fingerboard featuring the same sound engine with its own unique musical performance.
The Haken Audio ContinuuMini offers the same level of sound quality powered by the EaganMatrix synth engine in a compact size and more affordable. The ContinuuMini is not simply a smaller version of the larger sibling, but instead offers its own unique playing experience thanks to its playing surface capable of responding to very light touch.
The small nuances offered by finger movement are precisely captured and assigned to the desired functions resulting in an extremely organic and human expression.
Powered by the EaganMatrix, every fine detail of the performance translates into sound design leading to an infinite path of sonic exploration. The EaganMatrix is a powerful program combining Subtractive Synthesis, Physical Modelling with Modal Filter Banks, FM, Spectral Sets with micro-analysis, Waveguide, and Feedback Delay Networks to create the most expressive and powerful digital instruments ever created.
The ContinuuMini can control external synths or be controlled via an external controller thanks to powerful bidirectional implementation of the MPE and MPE+ .
It also includes a pedal input for continuous sustain pedal inputs, dynamic sustain or a wide range of other possibilities thanks to the EaganMatrix. The pedal input can also work as a serial port for use with Control Voltage Converter like the Haken Audio CVC or Evaton Technologies microCVC, for use with analogue modular systems.
