Sequential Trigon-6

The Sequential Trigon-6 is a polyphonic rendition of the classic, fat and creamy 3-oscillator-plus-ladder-filter analogue sound that defined the beginning of the synth era with a recognisable sound that spans genres and styles, but it's been fine-tuned and reimagined with Sequential's own contemporary imprint.

The Sequential Trigon-6 is powered by three newly designed voltage-controlled oscillators (with triangle, saw, and pulse waves) and an improved version of Sequential's Pro 3 mono synth's ladder filter. The switchable 2/4 pole resonant filter design includes dedicated drive and feedback controls, allowing you to easily transition from bold and crunchy to silky and smooth with a simple knob turn.

The Trigon-6 combines the best features of Sequential's highly praised Prophet-6 and OB-6 synths — 6-voice polyphony, unparalleled playability, simple programmability, and a small footprint — all in a four-octave, semi-weighted keyboard with velocity and channel aftertouch. Its unmistakable "3-oscillators-through-a-ladder-filter" punch sets it apart from its siblings. It sets a new standard for what an ideal power poly should and can be.

The Trigon-6, includes all of Sequential's "must-have" sound-sculpting features, such as super snappy envelopes, a syncable LFO with multiple waveforms and destinations, a polyphonic step sequencer, and an arpeggiator. The Trigon-6's knob-per-function front panel puts these controls right at your fingertips. In addition, it comes with 500 factory- and 500 user-presets, including classic basses, leads, and pads to get any project started.

Sequential's classic Poly Mod is also included, with advancements for forward-thinking sound design. Filter envelope and oscillator 3 can also be used as modulation sources (both with bi-polar control). Oscillator 1, 2, and 3 frequency, pulse width, filter cutoff, and feedback are all destinations. Unison mode, with configurable voice count (1-6 voices for up to 18 simultaneous oscillators) and key modes, is also included.

Many studio-quality effects, such as reverbs, delays (standard and BBD), chorus, flanger, phaser, and ring modulator are accessible in the dual effects section while the fully-analogue independent stereo distortion effect brings on-demand aggression.

Finally, the Vintage Knob brings voice-to-voice differences in calibration and component behaviour to add even more classic organic warmth to an already classic synth. Vintage behaviour can be adjusted from subtle to extreme to mimic the stability of a flawless modern instrument or a time-worn piece of history.
