Centred around the original 601 Complimiter circuit from 1969, renowned for being the fastest analogue compressor limiter, the STX 600 offers significant improvements in headroom, system noise reduction, and distortion. It shares the same circuit as the original 610 and newer models like the C610, 611, and V610. True to the Complimiter design, the STX 600 maintains the ultra-fast limiter/compressor performance in a compact module with an overall gain of 62dB, suitable for use as a microphone or line preamplifier. Notably versatile, the unit features switchable 48-volt phantom power and phase control, enhancing its functionality.
