The Thermionic Culture Phoenix HG15 is a single-channel valve Compressor conceived in celebration of the 15 years of existence of Thermionic Culture.

The Thermionic Culture Phoenix HG15 includes new innovations starting from a new 6AQ8EH input valve allowing higher gain up to 53dB instead of the 28dB of the original as well as tighter compressor with low noise. It also features basic EQ, 48V phantom power and input selector with pad, transforming this already highly popular compressor into a fully-fledged channel strip. The simple EQ section features a Bass Cut, Presence and Air control allowing the tweaking of the sound at source.

This unconventional compressor or channel strip has been designed to be used for tracking purposes and features a Side chain circuit with Bass cut to control the gain reduction preventing it from being triggered uncontrollably by low-end rumble.
