Unison Mic Preamps

With two Unison preamps, the Apollo X6 lets you track through exact emulations of Neve, API, Manley, SSL and Universal audio plug-ins in real-time. Unison Technology mimics all the details of selected hardware mic preamps, valve or solid-state, including input impedance, gain stage and component level circuit. Combined with UAD's Unison-ready plug-ins, it provides unparalleled realism.

Mix in Surround and +24u Operation

In addition to the two preamps, the x6 includes six analogue inputs and outputs allowing you to mix in surround sound, ideal for people working for film or video games and with a selectable +24dBu operation, it works perfectly with professional mixing consoles and pro audio equipment.

As your studio needs grow, the X6 can be further augmented in a powerful recording powerhouse with 8-channel of ADAT to work with external mic preamps like the 4-710 or by connecting up to four Apollo via the Thunderbolt 3 connectors which are also backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 1 and 2.
