The WesAudio Hyperion is a stereo 500 Series analogue EQ with advanced digital controls, A/B functionality, Mid/Side mode processing and more.

The WesAudio Hyperion is a four-band parametric EQ with powerful sound-sculpting capabilities and musicality. It boasts 18 VCAs per channel to ensure a noiseless operation and provides +24dBu of headroom. It also includes a high-pass filter with a variable frequency between 20Hz all the way to 350Hz and offers a choice of 6- or 12dB/oct slopes. Furthermore, the Hyperion can be used in dual mono, stereo and Mid/Side at the flick of a button and each of the four band includes a dedicated bypass switch.

While the signal path is 100% analogue, the Hyperion boasts digital controls that allow for precise setups and easy recall. Twelve encoders control gain frequency and bandwidth over the four bands while additional buttons control the different modes. Connected to USB or through an NG500 compatible chassis, the Hyperion can also be controlled directly from the DAW via the included plugin that works as VST, AU, RTAS and AAX. The Plugin allows for automation controls of all the individual controls as well as easy recall directly within the session.

The Hyperion sounds great with a hint of musicality. For more pronounced tone a THD button increases the amount of harmonic distortion with control over the frequency range (Medium or Highs)
