The WesAudio NGBusComp is a dual-channel compressor based on the Dione 500 Series analogue compressor with advanced digital controls, A/B/C comparing functionality, Mid/Side mode processing and more.

The WesAudio NGBusComp is a dual-channel VCA compressor inspired to deliver the classic mixbus glue. It boasts four THAT 2181 VCA in the signal chain for each channel as well as another two in the side-chain detection circuit. With +26dBu of headroom, the NGBusComp is also great for mastering applications.

Ratios range between 1.5:1 all the way up to 10:1. the NGBusComp excels a gentle glue of a mix or powerful smashing of a drum bus or stereo room and much more. The included Mix Control makes it an ideal choice for parallel compression techniques while the side-chain with variable frequency control help tailor the responsiveness of the compressor to the low-frequency signals. When additional colour is required, an Iron transformer can be engaged and a THD control knob adds subtle musical distortion for increased colouration.

The NGBusComp boasts a 100% analogue signal path delivering all the goodness that great analogue equipment provides, but combines it with the power of digital controls, offering ultimate precision and full recall capabilities.

A USB connector allows communication with the DAW offering plugin controls, automation and session recall.
