The RME MADIface XT is a USB 3.0 Audio interface designed to accept up to 196 ins and 198 outs using 3 MADI I/Os with 64 channels each but also 2 mic/line inputs, 2 XLR line and one stereo phones output, plus one AES/EBU I/O.
The MADIface XT by RME delivers the high channel count allowed by MADI in a small and portable solution designed for the road. With three MADI I/O connectors, two mic preamps and headphone out, RME’s USB interface offers an impressive amount of routing options all easily configurable on the TFT screen situated at the front. Harnessing the greater bandwidth offered by USB 3.0, this audio interface delivers ultra-low latency even at high channel counts.
Using RME’s latest converters and some of the most stable drivers available, this portable audio interface is capable of working at sample rates as high as 192kHz and delivers outstanding performance in the studio or on the road, ensuring the total integrity of the signal.
