Trident 88 Series 40 Input

The Trident 8840 is a 40-channel analogue mixing desk continuing the tradition of the legendary Trident 80 series with discrete Class-A mic preamp, stereo mixing bus, eight subgroups and auxiliary send and returns and complete monitoring section.

The Trident 8840 has kept all the ergonomics and qualities that have made the 80 Series a legendary console in its own right but has updated it to fit modern requirements and workflow. The Trident 8840 integrates external outboard very easily at the flick of a switch inserting your favourite mic pre, compressor or even 500 Series modules just before the channel EQ.

One of the strength of the original 80 Series consoles was its characterful EQ, and the same EQ circuit in employed on all 40 channels but also on the monitor, returns and group section.

Anyone who’s used a desk will be immediately familiar with the Trident 88 Series of consoles with a very clear layout and a raft of routing options, while new engineers and student will learn very easily the ins and outs of signal flow within a professional recording console.

Highly regard since the creation of the original A-range consoles, the sound of Trident mixers has been a force to reckon with in the music recording industry and the Trident 88 consoles bears this heritage with pride. Just like its predecessors this analogue console likes to be pushed hard and the harder it is being pushed the bigger it sounds. It really gives engineers the real satisfaction of recording or mixing that only high quality consoles can provide.

Designed as a completely modular system, the Trident is easily tweakable and can be serviced without having to return the entire console, allowing engineers to keep working.
