The Unity Audio Mini-Rocks 7.1.4 Atmos Bundle includes all the speakers necessary to set up an Atmos system.
The bundle includes:
The Unity Audio Mini Rock is an active studio monitor with 50kHz folded ribbon tweeter and a new crystal membrane 5” woofer powered by Class D amplification.
The Unity Audio Mini-Rock is the smallest in the range measuring 279mm high, 184mm wide and 256mm deep. Following the same sealed cabinet design of its siblings, the Mini Rocks provide the same low-frequency accuracy and transient response. However, the Mini rock uses a split dual-chamber cabinet with an aperiodic vent which increases the bass response of such a small speaker without sacrificing the benefits of a sealed cabinet.
The new crystal woofer uses an aluminium dome joined to a paper cone using a special glueing process that delivers a sandwich construction. an aluminium foil is used to harden the aluminium dome minimising resonances and colouration while providing superior power handling and dynamics. Furthermore, a new voice coil design delivers an extended frequency response by almost an octave, delivering a bigger sound than its diminutive size suggests.
Both the woofer and tweeter are powered by a dedicated 100W Class D amplifier with DC protection and switchable 115V-230V operation. A custom input/crossover has been engineered, giving you volume control on the back of the cabinet.
The Unity Audio Avalanche MK-II DSP is a 700 Watt active subwoofer with a downward-firing woofer, sealed aperiodic vent split cabinet design, and brand new Class D amplifier with DSP based crossover.
The Unity Avalanche Mk-II DSP is primarily designed to complement Unity’s range of speakers, extending their performance all the way down to 22Hz. The downward-firing 12” woofer has been specifically designed for heavy-duty applications and housed in a sealed aperiodic vent spit cabinet. This design uses a resistive membrane to control the woofer. This helps woofers in small enclosures behave as if they were in much larger sealed cabinets, delivering the same accurate bass reproduction, flatter impedance curve and extended low frequency all with zero port noise.
The woofer is powered by a powerful 700 Watts Class Amplifier housed in the second aperiodic chamber, providing a huge amount of headroom for working with bass-heavy content.
A new DSP system replaces the analogue input and provides ultra-precise 1/10th of a dB level control of the input and output, mute, phase, delay and an 8-band parametric EQ with different filters types and limiter protection.
In addition, it boasts two balanced XLR inputs and two XLR outputs to connect to other speakers. An Ethernet connector is included to connect to a Mac or PC and access DSP.
