The Universal Audio LUNA Analog Essentials is a set of extensions for the LUNA recording system, adding latency-free analogue colouration and summing.
The Universal Audio LUNA Analog Essentials bundle includes Neve and API summing as well as integrated Studer and Ampex tape emulations, perfectly integrated with Universal Audio’s powerful recording software.
Neve Summing:
The Neve summing lets you add the unmistakable mojo of the classic Neve 80 series consoles. Developed in close partnership with AMS Neve, the Neve Summing extension recreates the entire summing circuit and its core 1272 bus amplifiers which add the colour, and 3-dimensional sound.
API Summing:
The API Summing Extension has been designed with API to bring the unmistakable mid-forward punch of API consoles. It recreates API’s famous 2520 op-amps and custom-output transformer summing amps that greatly contribute to the attitude and sound of API’s analogue consoles.
Studer A800 Multichannel Tape Recorder
The holy grail of multi-channel tape recorders, the Studer A800 delivers the warm and analogue sound with a solid low-end and sweet top end. LUNA recreates the tape character on every individual channel, adding the cohesion only achieved through mixing on magnetic tape. Just like Universal Audio’s Studer plug-in, this LUNA extension gives a choice of 4 tape formulations.
Ampex ATR-102 Mastering Tape Recorder
The Ampex ATR-102 recreates the sound of of the two-track Ampex tape machine, adding the final analogue polish to transform your mixes into album-ready tones. It’s low-end punch and tape saturation brings your mix to life. This extension opens your busses and master fader with all the dynamics tone and saturation of the original tape recorder.
